I am 20 years old and have been suffering from depression for 4 years since the death of various loved ones including my Dad. At the moment my depression seems to have worsened so I decided to look on the Internet for help. I came across your website on Google search engine and I am so glad I did. I went through the learning path and my head feels a lot clearer. Perhaps I now know which therapy to take up next. I am on drugs and in counselling at the moment, but I think I would like to try the cognitive therapy you suggested. I am lucky in some senses because I am on a university course that I enjoy and I live with a very supportive boyfriend. It is very hard for him too sometimes as I have terrible mood swings and am generally sad and angry a lot.

I think going through your learning path is the first step of me beating this thing once and for all. You have given me a lot of hope so thank you. I have requested that the 'steps' be sent to my email too as I feel it would be helpful and supportive if I went through the learning path again with guidance.
